ENS Expiry and Renewal Date Planner

Plan a .eth renewal review date and see grace and temporary-premium boundaries from a known expiry timestamp in UTC.

Plan a standard second-level .eth renewal using the exact expiry timestamp from the ENS App. All dates and times below are UTC.

Known expiry
Planning assumptions

The comparison time starts at the current UTC time when this page loads. Replace it to explore another date. This tool does not look up a name or create a reminder.

Your scenario
Choose your inputs and calculate.

How the dates are calculated

Review date = entered expiry minus your chosen lead time. Grace boundary = expiry plus 90 days. Temporary-premium boundary = expiry plus 111 days, combining the 90-day grace period and 21-day premium period. Days mean 24-hour UTC intervals.

The scenario status compares your supplied timestamps. At the exact grace boundary, check the official app and chain state before acting; contract boundary conditions and a mistaken timestamp can change the available action. These dates do not establish availability or ownership.

What each stage means

During current .eth grace, normal renewal can extend the previous expiry and records continue to resolve, with some management and transfer actions restricted. After grace, renewal is no longer the route: a new registration can require a temporary premium. Another person may register it.

Renewing adds time to the old expiry. It does not restart the term from the day you pay. Verify the resulting expiry in the ENS App after confirmation, especially when extending an already expired name.

Build a maintenance habit

Check the exact timestamp, controlling account and relevant project before using the result. Put the review date into your own calendar, retain a current maintenance note and verify state again before a transaction. A downloaded result is a static record and will not refresh itself.

This planner covers current standard .eth second-level rules. Basenames, other issued subnames and announced future ENS versions can have different terms. Use the instructions for the product you actually hold.
