Web3 Domain Resale Break-Even Calculator
Calculate Web3 domain seller fees, modeled proceeds, profit or loss and the sale price needed to cover your entered costs.
Calculate proceeds after a seller fee and the sale price needed to cover your entered costs. Use the same currency throughout.
Read the outputs correctly
Seller fee = sale price × fee percentage. Modeled proceeds = sale price − percentage fee − additional fixed selling costs. Modeled result = proceeds − acquisition − other costs. This result is before tax and excludes anything you have not entered.
Break-even sale price = (acquisition + other costs + fixed selling costs) ÷ (1 − percentage fee). The displayed threshold rounds upward to the next cent. It assumes a buyer completes a sale at that price and the stated fee applies.
A worked scenario
With a $250 sale, a 3% fee and no fixed selling cost, modeled proceeds are $242.50. Against $100 acquisition and $10 other costs, the result is $132.50. The break-even threshold is $113.41 under these assumptions. This is a calculation, not an appraisal of a name.
For no sale, this tool shows zero sale receipts and the acquisition plus other entered costs remain unrecovered. A fixed selling cost entered for a completed sale is not charged in that no-sale scenario; put already-paid listing costs in other costs instead.
Proceeds are not necessarily a wallet receipt
A marketplace balance may have separate eligibility, verification, hold and withdrawal steps. Unstoppable’s listing guide describes Sales Balance, while its withdrawal guide describes the conditions before withdrawal. The tool does not treat a calculated balance as a completed payout.
Use actual completed-sale evidence when reviewing performance. Asking prices, listing volume and a calculator result do not establish demand or a probability of sale.
