How to Buy an Unstoppable Web3 Domain
Buy an Unstoppable Web3 domain with product checks, checkout steps, custody verification and a wallet setup plan.
Buy an Unstoppable Web3 domain by choosing the exact name product, checking the order and the wallet arrangement, then verifying the resulting ownership and records. Unstoppable also sells traditional DNS domains. Identify which product is in your cart before applying Web3 renewal, custody or compatibility assumptions.
Record the full identifier, intended owner and app workflow before choosing a payment method.
- 01Check the exact product and quote
- 02Complete the documented checkout
- 03Verify the holding wallet and setup
Choose the name around a supported task
Write the intended job first: a receiving alias in a particular wallet, a public identity or a supported website route. Then verify the complete suffix and app integration. Paying with a wallet does not show that the purchased name will resolve in that wallet’s recipient field.
Use the choosing framework and spelling checklist. Keep a readable alternative on your shortlist, and do not treat registry availability as brand clearance.
Read the product and cost lines
| Check | What to record |
|---|---|
| Exact product | Full name, suffix and whether it is Web3, DNS or a resale listing. |
| Initial quote | Price, currency, selected options and payment-processing charges shown. |
| Holding arrangement | Which account and wallet will hold the name after fulfillment. |
| Ongoing obligations | Any selected services and the product’s actual renewal model. |
| App fit | The exact wallet, network and supported action you need. |
Unstoppable’s bulk-action guidance says its Web3 names have no renewal pricing; its DNS names have separate renewal controls. That distinction does not make every optional service or later transaction free. The pricing comparison keeps these budget lines separate.
Follow the purchase flow
The official buying guide describes this sequence:
- Use Unstoppable’s Domain Search and inspect the intended name.
- Add the selected name to the cart.
- Open the cart and review the exact product and options.
- Choose Go to Checkout and inspect the offered payment method and total.
- Complete the matching payment flow and wait for the order result.
- Reopen the domain independently from the account’s domain collection.
A pending payment or a temporarily unavailable name is not proof of completed ownership. Save the order reference and the final status before retrying a failed purchase. Use official support for an unresolved order rather than following a stranger’s payment-fix link.
Understand purchase, minting and custody
Minting records a Web3 asset on its supported chain; a payment receipt alone does not describe where that asset is held. Inspect the name’s actual network and holding wallet after fulfillment. Do not assume a tutorial’s old Mint button applies to every current extension or checkout route.
Gem Wallet’s own walkthrough shows one wallet-connected purchase and a subsequent profile configuration step. It is evidence for that documented flow, not a test of every current wallet or every Unstoppable product. We have not purchased or minted a domain for this guide.
Keep the holding wallet separate from the addresses configured to receive payments through the name. The next task is the wallet-record setup, followed by an app-specific lookup check.
Treat future DNS plans as conditional
Unstoppable’s February 2026 Originals announcement describes intended ICANN applications and benefits conditional on approval. It does not establish that the selected Web3 suffix already works in the ordinary DNS root or that a current purchase guarantees future DNS rights.
Base your purchase on what the exact product can do now. A proposed expansion is separate evidence from an operational integration you can check.
Review the applicable return rules
The current refund policy distinguishes new Web3 purchases from DNS registrations, renewals and completed marketplace sales. It describes a 14-day Web3 purchase window with custody conditions. Check the precise order category and current policy before moving an asset or assuming a refund is available.
After purchase, save the full name, order, network, holding wallet and the intended use. A small maintenance record makes record changes and later handovers easier to verify.
Finished when: the intended name appears with its confirmed ownership arrangement, the actual costs are recorded and the required app workflow has been checked separately.
