Set Unstoppable Domain Wallet Address Records

Configure Unstoppable Web3 receiving records, distinguish tokens and networks, and verify the result in your intended wallet.

To use an Unstoppable Web3 name as a receiving alias, configure the relevant cryptocurrency address records and verify the result in a supported app. The wallet that holds the domain, its payment destination records and its reverse display name answer different questions.

Before you begin

Collect each intended receiving address from a trusted source and label it with the token and network.

  1. 01Choose the relevant record
  2. 02Save through the supported management flow
  3. 03Verify the complete destination

Keep the three identities separate

InformationWhat it establishes
Domain holding walletWhich wallet controls the Web3 asset.
Cryptocurrency recordWhich configured destination a supported lookup should return.
Reverse recordWhich name an integrating app may display for a wallet.

Do not use an NFT appearing in a wallet as evidence that a receiving record is correct. Prepare a sentence for each intended action: “This full name, for this token and network in this app, should resolve to this full address.” That is a concrete acceptance check.

Understand what the address fields represent

Unstoppable’s record reference documents cryptocurrency entries such as crypto.ETH.address and crypto.BTC.address. It also distinguishes token-version and network-specific entries for currencies that exist across chains. A familiar token ticker alone is not enough context for a receiving instruction.

The registry stores key-value records. Unstoppable notes that record values are not validated at the smart-contract level. A saved value therefore still needs a full-address and intended-network check.

Use the supported record-management flow

  1. Open your account and locate the exact Web3 domain.
  2. Confirm its holding wallet and that the connected account can manage it.
  3. Open the name’s profile or cryptocurrency-address settings in the supported interface.
  4. Enter the independently verified destinations for the relevant currencies and networks.
  5. Review the proposed changes, then use the interface’s confirmation flow.
  6. Wait for confirmed state and read the saved records again.

Gem Wallet’s documented Unstoppable flow shows adding addresses and using Confirm Changes, with an onchain confirmation afterward. Interface labels and supported products can change. This article does not claim that we operated your account or verified every current management screen.

For technical operators, Unstoppable separately documents registry set and setMany writes through block explorers. That is a different procedure requiring the correct registry, authorization and token identifier. Use its official technical guide for that route rather than treating a generic example as a ready transaction.

Check a receiving lookup before publishing it

Open the intended app and inspect its recipient lookup using the complete name. Compare the full resolved destination against the address you prepared. Check the app’s selected network and asset, not merely its account nickname.

A hypothetical creator might configure separate Ethereum and Bitcoin destinations, then record the result for each supported sending app. If one app recognizes only one suffix or action, that result belongs in the acceptance record. It is not evidence of universal support.

Save the name, token, network, app/version, full result and time checked. A read-only lookup establishes what the app displayed. It is different from a completed payment or settlement test.

Display names and websites are separate tasks

Unstoppable’s reverse-resolution documentation describes apps looking up a name from an address. Forward receiving resolution starts with a name and asks for an address. A display-name problem can therefore remain even when a receiving lookup works.

Website records are another category in the record reference. Do not change them simply because a wallet name is absent. The compatibility evidence guide separates receiving lookups, identity display and website access.

After a transfer or an unexpected result

Review all receiving records after a handover. Unstoppable’s data-retention guidance distinguishes marketplace sales from some direct-transfer routes, so old records should not be assumed either present or removed without checking.

If a change has confirmed but one app still differs, save the observation and use the resolution checklist. Repeating unrelated edits makes it harder to identify the actual failure layer.

Finished when: the saved records match the intended destinations and each required app lookup has been checked with its token and network context.
